To date, we are shocked, shocked that Sony has not released a point and shoot with 720p video recording. Especially since its marketing campaign called HDNA cross products, the lack of HD cameras in its range has been unclear. Finally, Sony on board: the new Cybershot DSC-T500 does just that. I saw a demo a few weeks ago, and because it uses a more advanced codec (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264) than its competitors, namely, Kodak and Panasonic’s image was more accurate color and exposure (which is saying a lot because it gave me lots of love for Kodak cameras 720p).

The camera has 10.1 megapixel 5x optical zoom, 3.5 inch touch screen, ISO up to 3200, HDMI output, Intelligent Scene Recognition, Face Detection, reading, filter waste can face, and smile shooting settings. It will cost $ 399.

Whether your needs are at the base, you can fly four and five hundred dollar cameras we’ve been drooling over lately, and opt for something simpler.
