Ubisoft, the video game developer and publisher of the popular French mentioned that the 3D gaming will be present on half the games available in 2012.
In a recent occasion, according to Ubisoft, 3D-based games will be many more who were present to console the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In addition, there will also 3D games for handheld devices.
“We can hope there will be substantial growth in the market because it is more touching 3D users,” said Yves Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer of Ubisoft, as quoted from Maximum PC, May 21, 2010.
Guillemot estimates, next year around 15 to 20 percent of games will be present in a 3D format for future console platforms. “The next year, the figure would be 50 percent,” Guillemot said.
Currently markets are only waiting for when Nintendo brings 3DS, portable gaming console that supports 3D without needing glasses. Recently, Sony itself has been presenting support for the 3D TV for the PlayStation 3 console them.
