To reduce the issues that are circulating about the problems experienced by iPhone antenna 4, Apple makes the program division of gum wrappers or commonly called by the term “condom” for iPhone 4 intended to overcome the problem of signal attenuation.

This gum wrappers will be distributed for free to subscribers iPhone 4. However, this program only applies to users who bought the iPhone 4 prior to 30 September 2010.

“If you are Experiencing reception issues with your iPhone 4, you are eligible to receive an iPhone 4 Bumper or other select third-party case at no charge from Apple,” said a message at the iTunes Case Program page.

“If you are having problems receiving signals on the iPhone 4, you are entitled to receive the protective casing iPhone 4 or third-party from Apple at no extra cost,” said a message on the iTunes website page Case Program.

But to get the casing for free users also have to go through several stages in advance. First, users must download the application program 4 in the casing for the iPhone App store. Then sign in with an account with Apple’s iTunes or ID. Finally, select the desired gum wrappers.

For the buyer before date of July 23, 2010 must apply the request before the date of August 22, 2010. Buyers on the date the petition could be filed within 30 days of purchase prior to 30 September 2010.

Previously, Apple acknowledged that the iPhone four potentially experience if the antenna signal attenuation in the left lower layers when exposed to hand held. Gum wrappers are expected to reduce the potential for signal attenuation.
